Our usual opening dates are from March 1 to November 30 but because of the present Covid restrictions the museum opening date was delayed this year.
We are now open from the 22nd June.

Saturday: 10:30 - 5:00

The adult £5 admission charge will be suspended from 22nd June for this year. Donations welcome.
Initially the ground floor only will be open to display our magnificent Wallingford Castle model.

(Sadly, for legal reasons we cannot admit any unaccompanied children)
Group Rates (10 or more persons): £4 per person
School Rates: £2 per pupil, accompanying staff and helpers free entry
Annual Friends' Subscription: £15.00

We have a single accessible unisex toilet for our visitors.
Refreshments - there are plenty of good local cafes within 5 to 10 minutes walk of the museum.
There is flat-floor access to all ground floor areas.
We regret that because of the historic nature of the building, access to the upper galleries may not be possible for people who find the stairs too challenging.
When the museum is fully open (non COVID-19 restricted), for any of our visitors who are unable to access the upper galleries, please request free entry to the Museum and the opportunity to view a video of the permanent 'Wallingford Story' display with audio.
Accompanying carers will be offered free entry.
We can provide limited on-site parking if booked in advance of your visit. Please do contact us.
Wallingford Museum is entirely volunteer run, and we rely on the generosity of visitors and volunteers to ensure that the museum remains open and continues to provide services for the community.
Wallingford Museum is enormously grateful for every donation received. Each person who supports the Museum becomes part of our unique history and, more importantly, our future.
We welcome donations online, or in person at the museum.
