Facilities

We have a single accessible unisex toilet for our visitors.

Refreshments - there are plenty of good local cafes within 5 to 10 minutes walk of the museum.

Access

There is flat-floor access to all ground floor areas.

We regret that because of the historic nature of the building, access to the upper galleries may not be possible for people who find the stairs too challenging.

When the museum is open, for any of our visitors who are unable to access the upper galleries, please request free entry to the Museum and the opportunity to view a video of the permanent 'Wallingford Story' display with audio.

Accompanying carers will be offered free entry.

Wallingford Museum is entirely volunteer run, and we rely on the generosity of visitors and volunteers to ensure that the museum remains open and continues to provide services for the community.

Wallingford Museum is enormously grateful for every donation received. Each person who supports the Museum becomes part of our unique history and, more importantly, our future.

We welcome donations online, or in person at the museum.
